We have been running as a family business since opening our doors back in 1971, by Davids father John Belcher. David joined the shop at the age of 16 where he learnt the art of Butchery alongside his father.
Johns’ knowledge and skills were passed down to David who took over the shop when John approached retirement. The family theme has continued with Davids children, Emma and Dan, working with him to ensure that the family values are kept in the day to day running of the business.
As well as Davids wealth of experience in the trade its important to not forget his right hand man Lee. With 30 years experience at Davids Quality Meats, Lee has a natural talent for knowing his customers like the back of his hand. He’s quick to understand each customers requirements, ranging from a variety of cuts at specific sizes, to cooking times. Like the rest of us, Lee aims to make sure that no question or request is too much to ask for.
